Use 5 ml per 10 US gallons (38 L) of water. Clean the filter and gravel before use. If the violet color changes to yellow before 1 hour, repeat the dose. Change 25-50% of the water after 4-5 hours.
For water with sensitive fish like certain Malawi cichlids, use at half dose.
You can determine species sensitivity by observing fish during use.
May be dangerous for plants and invertebrates. In case of a problem, this product can be deactivated with 1-2 ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide per 10 US gallons.
Low impact on filtration. During use, stop UV sterilizer and carbon filter.
This product is a water purifirer, it is not considered as a medicine.
DANGER: Harmful if swallowed. Call a physician if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse with water. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not mix with other products or drugs. Stains hands and surfaces.

Potassium permanganate is a Class A precursor and as a retailer you have the right to sell it according to the Precursor Control Regulations :
5 With respect to any Class A precursor, a person who only sells, provides or possesses for the purpose of sale or provision is exempt from the requirements of these Regulations in respect of the activity if the person
(a) sells or provides a selection of goods that is not limited to chemicals or chemicals and equipment used in the chemical industry for the production, processing or storage of chemicals; and
(b) sells or provides Class A precursors
(i) only on a retail basis,
(ii) in the case of a precursor set out in column 1 of the schedule, only in a quantity, per transaction, that does not exceed the maximum quantity, expressed as an absolute amount or per package, specified for the precursor in column 2 of the schedule, and
(iii) in the case of a preparation or mixture containing a precursor set out in column 1 of the schedule, only in a quantity, per transaction, that does not exceed the maximum quantity, expressed as an absolute quantity or per package, specified for the contained precursor in column 2 of the schedule.
